Environment Design
-
I used UE5 to construct the virtual environments, utilizing assets from Quixel’s Megascans which were then edited, combined, or modified via Blueprints to fit the needs of the scene.
-
I used Canva during the concept phase to create moodboards and collect reference images which allowed the scenes to develop in a cohesive direction.
For this contract, I was responsible for designing two environments to be used by Studio V1’s virtual production students using ICVFX tools and a 40-foot virtual set.
Each environment has interior and exterior set pieces, designed with a cohesive feel in mind. All constructions in the environments are modular and can be easily removed by the production team to allow for wider interior shots or shots in tighter, more intimate spaces.
